Design Through Production
Jake Newsum is a designer, researcher and educator with a Master of Science in Digital Technologies of Architecture from University of Michigan, Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning. He is currently located in Los Angeles, California, where he manages the Robotics Lab at SCI-Arc and teaches EDGE Architecture Technologies Post Professional Design Labs.
His recent work has largely focused on the development of custom interfaces for robotic design processes. His research has been published and presented internationally on topics of design, fabrication, automation, artificial intelligence and advancing education.
